Contact Aussie Learner

One person runs this site and reads this address. If something here is wrong, telling him is the fastest way to get it fixed.

Email Vikas Dulgunde, who builds and maintains Aussie Learner. There is no contact form on this page. The site is a set of static files with no server behind it, so a form would have nowhere to send anything, and a form that swallows a correction is worse than no form at all.

Corrections come first

Most of the questions on this site were written here, and every statistic carries a source. Both of those can be wrong, and a reader who spots it is doing the site a favour.

Outside New South Wales, the practice questions are original ones written against the current road rules rather than an agency bank, so an error is entirely possible. Statistics are read off published releases and freedom of information responses, and a release can be superseded a week after it was checked. Road rules change. Fees change every year.

If a question, an explanation, a fee, a pass mark or a figure looks wrong, write in. It helps to include the page address, the exact wording you are looking at, and the agency page or document that says otherwise, because that is what settles it. Anything confirmed gets corrected and the page review date moves with it. Anything that turns out to be right stays as it is, and you get an answer either way.

What else is worth writing about

Four things that reach a person rather than a filter.

What to expect back

Said plainly, because a promise nobody can keep is worth nothing.

This is one person, not a support desk, and there is no guaranteed reply time. Mail is read, and a clear correction with a source behind it gets looked at before anything else. There is no ticket number, no autoresponder and no queue position, because none of those exist here.

Two things this address cannot do. It cannot tell you anything about your own licence, your booking, your fees or your record. That is your licensing agency, and nobody here has access to any of it. It also cannot tell you what will be on your test, beyond what the agency already publishes and this site already sets out.

Before you write about a rule

Where this site and your licensing agency disagree, the agency is right and this site is wrong. Check the official handbook or the agency page first, then tell us, because that is a correction worth having.
